NEW technology has been launched to help dealers manage complex handover procedures more effectively.
Compliance requirements and the need to spend more time explaining electric vehicles have seen vehicle handovers grow more complicated in recent years.
The Handover Module from Mad Devs is an add-on to the iConnect customer management system. It creates a centralised handover calendar with round the clock access. In addition, documents and insurance policies are linked to each handover process to increase compliance.
The process can restrict users from booking or delivering vehicles without relevant documentation being signed and key tasks completed, such as valets and vehicle checks, to improve the customer experience.

The Handover module provides automated professional emails to alert and keep all users and customers up to date with information about the delivery. Users can set up handover types and timings around each type.
