Swansway Garages has promoted Richard Mann, from Business Manager to General Sales Manager at Crewe Volkswagen.
Richard Mann commented, “I started off my career in the Parachute Regiment and from there I’ve had a number of career changes, ranging from chip shop owner to financial adviser”!“Then I found the motor trade and I haven’t looked back, working for some great brands, including Audi and Land Rover, before beginning my role at Crewe Volkswagen.
“I was originally attracted to Swansway as it’s a family owned business; I liked the idea of being part of an organisation where the directors are so approachable, and my new role proves I made the right choice.
Looking to the future Richard concluded, “Of course I’d like to make it right to the top and become a Head of Business, but I’m also very conscious of the work/life balance and I want to be as happy at work as I am at home; so far, so good on that score”!
