MANHEIM is preparing for a five-day mega event that will more than 1,000 high quality vehicles from Marshall Motor Group go under the hammer.

The event comes at a time when good condition stock is in high demand as dealers look to capitalise on used vehicle sales to make up for a challenging new car market.

The week will kick off with a 500 strong auction at Manheim Bristol on Monday 8 April, and continue with auctions at Manheim Northampton, Online, Wimbledon, Colchester and Mansfield.

Jon Head, Commercial Director at Marshall Motor Group, said: “Partnering with Manheim to offer large volumes of stock in a week-long event has proved a highly effective remarketing strategy for us.”

“We pride ourselves on building good relationships with our wholesale buyers, and Marshall Motor Group representatives will, as always be on the rostrum throughout the week to make decisions on the bids received.”

Peter Bell, Managing Director of Manheim, added: “We enjoy working with our vendors to market their stock in the most effective way.

“Marshall Motor Group holds a successful weekly auction programme at Manheim, and events like this give us the opportunity to boost buyer engagement even further by promoting additional volume.”

The last Marshall Mega Week event held in October attracted 2,000 registered buyers and achieved a combined sales value of £4.1 million.
