Very quickly according to new New research from Dealerweb.

It shows that 42% of buyers are more likely to complete a vehicle purchase if they receive a response to an online inquiry within 30 minutes. While 30% of buyers said, they expected a dealer to respond in under 15 minutes.

To help dealers respond more effectively to this growing demand for swifter replies, the lead management expert Dealerweb has launched “Click to Call”, enabling sales teams to respond immediately to inquiries at the click of a button from their desktop or mobile device.

The new technology provides integrated call recording and instant playback, as well as being able to analyse the lead response activity through automated tracking and reporting.

Over 30% of buyers say they would prefer to receive a call from the dealer during traditional working hours.

Dealerweb’s React is the only system that provides a business with the option to respond via a fully HTML formatted email template or with a direct call to the customer using Click to Call.

Dealerweb Chief Executive Martin Hill said: “Buyers expect a quick and seamless transition from digital enquiry to personal interaction with the salesperson.

“Our new Click to Call product offers dealers industry-leading functionality and integration with the React and Showroom platforms.

“Users can simply click the mobile notification or email to respond to the inquiry in seconds, and it is logged in the lead management platform.

“The Click to Call technology makes it easy to call the customer within the system, which helps ensure compliance procedures are supported, and the sales process is optimised.”

Dealerweb React is designed to convert more sales from an increasingly important digital channel. The online platform and mobile app channels all digital leads into one location.

According to the company’s latest data online leads increased by 3.6% for new vehicles and 21% for used in September.
