New store in Halifax follows a string of successful Express store openings for the retailer, with CarShop Express Leicester opening at the start of May and CarShop Express Leighton Buzzard opening just two months ago.

This would mark CarShop’s 13th store in the UK, but its first in the West Midlands. The retailer, which is part of Leicester-based Sytner Group, said the site is set to officially open its doors to the public in September this year.
New store is completely car-less, has customer facilities and a vehicle collection point but none of the large forecourts or showrooms that you typically associate with CarShop. Customers use it by browsing CarShop's entire stock online, holding their favourite car and having it transferred to the Express outlet before buying, and picking it up at a time that suits them.
