North Yorkshire Volvo dealer Ray Chapman Motors has appointed Gavin Iredale as its new fleet sales consultant.
He has been recruited to help meet the dealership’s growing demand from local companies in need of vehicles to support their business and now forms a four-strong team of fleet sales representatives and administrators.
Iredale has clocked up several years’ experience in the motor industry having spent time with Mercedes-Benz and Ford as well as with Vodafone Automotive. He has also worked for one of the world’s top financial advisors, De Vere Italia, and in the legal field with RG Solicitors and global pharmaceutical corporate GlaxoSmithKline.
He said: “We understand that no two businesses are the same, so we’re always happy to support customers of all sizes in North Yorkshire to help them get their jobs done quickly, effectively and with the minimum of cost. I am delighted to be able to draw on all areas of my varied experience in automotive, finance and working for large corporations to help local companies fulfil their motoring needs.”
Ray Chapman Motors is one of only 10 Volvo approved Business Centres operating across the UK to provide a more comprehensive service for fleet customers by offering specialist knowledge and can arrange test drives at workplaces throughout the region. Each centre also operates a fleet of dedicated corporate demonstrators, updated every six months.
