Motorpoint has appointed Mick Martin-Roebuck as the new General Manager for its Castleford site.

Mick comes to the role having worked for Motorpoint for almost a decade. The former Group Preparation Manager at Motorpoint will oversee the team based at the company’s purpose-built branch on Whistler Drive.

Mick commented, “I am genuinely thrilled to have been appointed the new General Manager for Motorpoint in Castleford. As a proud Yorkshireman, it is a real honour for me to be given the responsibility to build the Motorpoint brand further across West Yorkshire. We’ve only been open since last April but in that time we are already becoming well-known for our award-winning choice, value and service across the region and it will be my responsibility to grow our presence even further.”

Mick knows the Castleford site inside out, having had oversight during the development project for the site.  The facility, which was officially opened by the former Mayor of Wakefield, Councillor June Cliffe MBE and the Castleford Tigers squad, currently stocks over 500 new and low mileage used cars.
