Hereford Audi and Vertu Volkswagen have promoted, Clare Mallender, to the position of business development manager.
Clare, who has worked at both dealerships for nearly 20 years, joins the management team after a long career as a sales executive. Her new role will see Clare, building relationships with local businesses to offer the best deals on commercial and retail vehicles.
Clare commented: “I’m very pleased to be starting this new role as business development manager. During my time with the dealership as a sales executive, I have worked with leading local businesses so I am confident that this is a role in which I will excel.“I’m from Hereford and my husband and I live here with our six year-old daughter, so I know lots of people within the city’s business community already and I’m looking forward to helping them to get the best value for money for their vehicle solutions.”
Mike Rich, operational director for Vertu Volkswagen and Hereford Audi added: “Clare’s promotion is well-deserved. She has been an asset to the business for many years and has proved her worth time and time again. Thanks to her local connections, she already dealt with the majority of business-related inquiries during that period, so she is more than prepared for this role and is looking forward to helping local businesses find the right vehicle to suit their requirements.”
