The Trade Centre UK, the newly established English West Midlands outpost of car supermarket group, The Trade Centre Wales has confirmed that it is to run a second recruitment drive to take headcount above 200, such has been the response to the new operation which opened on Good Friday.

Trade Centre UK say they have taken orders for almost 1,000 cars in the first 20 days of trading. Following this initial success, the business is expanding the team, with 30 full-time vacancies available across all customer-facing roles, from car sales to collections.

Talking about how things are going, Andy Wildy, sales director for The Trade Centre UK, said “After running analysis seven days into us opening, and following the sale of our first 300 cars, our closest customer lived just 20 steps from the site and the farthest customer had travelled from St Austell in Cornwall to take advantage of our deals. The most interesting trend, however, was that ten pairs of neighbours within the same row of adjacent streets all had purchased cars, which is just astounding.”
