They might be more than a billion pound, multi marque franchised dealer group, but Yorkshire based JCT600 is also a family owned concern that manages to recruit and hold on to staff better than many large groups.

This point was recently highlighted by Peugeot Bradford Workshop Manager Andy Kemp, who began his career with JCT600 and has just celebrated 15 years with the firm.

Starting out as an apprentice on 22 April 2002 at JCT600’s Peugeot Shipley dealership, Kemp made short work of his Service Technician Assessment going on to become a Service Technician in 2005 and a fully Qualified Technician by 2006.

Kemp became a Master Technician at Peugeot Bradford in 2008, and he has remained there to become the Workshop Manager.

Commenting on his colleague’s longevity with the firm, Service Manager, Asif Bahdur said, “Andy’s journey really shows that if you are committed to something you really can go all the way, from Apprentice to Workshop Manager. Congratulations on your work anniversary Andy, here’s to many more years at JCT600!”
