The Arnold Clark dealer group has confirmed its plans to create 200 new jobs.

The group expects to create 100 jobs as the its headquarters moves to Hillington, Glasgow.  A further 100 new vehicle technicians are being recruited throughout the Group’s 165 dealerships.

Work is just beginning on the group’s 90,000 square foot site at the Hillington Industrial Estate, four miles from Glasgow Airport. .   The develipment of the new HQ is part of a strategy whereby the group intends to streamline the customer journey by centralising a large number of business areas within one facility. The 100 new jobs at the Hillington HQ are spread across a variety of departments, including Sales, Servicing & Repairs, Marketing and Customer Services.  The new recruits will join 400 existing staff to be based on site.  The facility will also house two Arnold Clark franchises Renault and Dacia, with the dealerships sharing an exterior car display of over 300 new and used vehicles.

The facility will not only allow us to bring a number of functions and staff together, ensuring we accelerate the improvements and developments in our customer interactions and services, but also provides a superb 10-acre facility for our customers to choose from a huge selection of new and used vehicles.’

Arnold Clark currently has over 9000 staff employed throughout the Group’s 165 dealerships.
