VW celebrates top performers in difficult year

AFTER a challenging year in 2020, Volkswagen UK has marked the successes of its 212-strong network with a virtual awards ceremony, celebrating the top-performing retailer sites across the country including categories for fleet, new cars, used cars, aftersales and more.

The awards – held virtually amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic – were celebrated locally, with individual retailer staff members tuning in for the broadcast where a gathering of everyone at one venue would not have been possible.

Kicking off with the top-performing retailers for new cars, the event covered other major criteria, as well as the Regional Manager Special Recognition segment highlighting remarkable achievements, before announcing the ten top-performing Volkswagen Retailers across the UK. Among the lists of top performers, Volkswagen UK also called out numerous notable achievements from across the retailer network, including consistently high-performing sites and individuals. Also recognised in this section were those who acted as a lifeline to key workers (who needed to stay on the move during the difficult first lockdown), and others who worked through adversity and challenging situations outside of the Covid-19 pandemic to keep their customers mobile.
