VAUXHALL will introduce eight new or updated models by the end of 2020, although it will ditch the Adam and Viva hatchbacks along the way.

Those models will remain on sale until the end of next year as the UK brand looks to a future portfolio that will ensure a sustainable, successful future for both the company and its dealer network.

Among the model offensive will be an all-new Corsa in 2019, alongside a replacement Vivaro van. Vauxhall will open order books for an all-electric Corsa and the Grandland X PHEV by next summer.

A successor to the Mokka X will debut in 2020 and will be pivotal to the company’s strategy to expand SUV sales from 25% to 40% by 2021.

By the end of 2020, Vauxhall will have a total of four electrified models on offer and by 2024 there will be electrified versions of all its models.
