The Warranty Group has been chosen as the warranty and GAP provider The Car People’s new site in Warrington.  The deal builds on a long-term relationship between the warranty provider and the car supermarket.

The Car People’s purpose-built car supermarket, in Warrington will stock around 1,000 cars.  Under the deal the Warranty Group’s GAP and warranty products will be sold under The Car People brand at the point of purchase and available to cover 12, 24, 36 or 48 months.

Sean Kent, head of account management at The Warranty Group, commented: “We have been working with The Car People for some years at Wakefield,Manchester and Sheffield and the experience has been very positive. They have high levels of customer service and deliberately differentiate their approach from mainstream car retailers, creating a very friendly, low-pressure environment.

“The warranty and GAP products that we have created in partnership with them very much mirror this approach, being straightforward, effective and offering good value for money.”
