Subaru UK and Ireland has been named as the title sponsor of the 2025 Keswick Mountain Festival (KMF25), the outdoor sports and entertainment event.

The partnership aligns Subaru’s brand values of ‘safe, tough, fun’ with a festival known for its adventurous spirit, attracting more than 15,000 attendees to the Lake District each year.

Taking place from 16th to 18th May, KMF25 offers a mix of live music, outdoor adventure sports, and family-friendly activities set in the dramatic surroundings of Crow Park, Keswick.

Subaru will support the festival’s multi-sport challenge, rebranded as the Subaru Open 5 Adventure Race, a five-hour endurance competition that tests trail running, mountain biking and navigation skills.

Lyndsey Flood, head of marketing at Subaru UK and Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to have partnered with the Keswick Mountain Festival, becoming the title sponsor for 2025.

“We’re known around the world for building cars for people who love adventure and aren’t afraid to stray a little off the beaten track, so KMF25 really is the perfect fit for our brand.

“KMF25 will allow us to showcase our sector-leading model range with like-minded people, bringing our ‘safe, tough, fun’ philosophy to life against a backdrop of adventurous, outdoor-oriented living.”

Visitors to the festival will have the opportunity to explore the new 2025 Subaru Forester, on display at the Subaru stand, where guests can also take photos from a Subaru-branded viewing point overlooking the mountainous terrain.

Jamie Simpson, marketing and commercial director at Keswick Mountain Festival, added: “We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Subaru UK & Ireland as title sponsor for KMF25.

“Their commitment to adventure and connection with the outdoors aligns perfectly with everything our festival stands for.

“KMF is all about inspiring people to push boundaries, try something new and embrace the stunning natural environment we’re lucky enough to call home — values that Subaru not only shares, but lives.”

The Festival Village at Crow Park will serve as the heart of the event, offering panoramic views of Derwentwater and the surrounding fells.

The festival opens at midday on Friday 16th May and at 09:00 on Saturday and Sunday.
