SALTMARINE Hyundai has committed to ‘be green in 2019’ with the arrival of five fully-electric Hyundai Ioniq models for its staff alongside a host of other eco initiatives.

The Dungannon dealer group also has 200 solar panels, six electric car charge-points, low-energy lighting, and comprehensive recycling processes for tyres, oil, and paper.

The dealership is offering customers who take a 24-hour test drive in the new Ioniq Electric the chance to win a stay at the Lough Finn Resort, Fermanagh by achieving the best score in the “Saltmarine Hyundai Electric Range Challenge”.

The initiative also encourages drivers to do their bit for the environment with the winner getting close to nature with a midweek stay in a luxury bubble dome at Lough Finn Resort complete with afternoon tea for two and pedal kayak experience.

It is also offering an additional £500 off any new Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid or Plug-in Hybrid model for test drive and purchase between now and the end of March.

Michael Salt, Saltmarine Hyundai Dealer Principal, said: “We’re keen to help our customers be greener in 2019 and we’re showing our commitment to the cause by investing in the cleanest cars, plus green ways to generate power to help shrink our carbon footprint.

“Our staff are trained to help local motorists understand which sort of plug-in car could be right for them – so we look forward to helping more drivers to go green in 2019!”
