The 1,300 site RAC Dealer Network will be early adopters of new IT infrastructure to be supplied by The Warranty Group at the beginning of 2018. 

The The Warranty Group’s new Global Warranty Platform (GLoW), based on the Salesforce platform, aims at a “faster, easier and more effective” service for UK dealers and their customers.

Sean Kent, sales director at the RAC Dealer Network, commented, “Worldwide, our investment in GLoW runs into tens of millions of pounds and will provide us with technology that will place The Warranty Group at the cutting edge of the motor warranty sector. 

“GLoW will make faster, easier and more effective all aspects of warranty, service plan and all insurance add-ons, whether you are a dealer or manufacturer selling and administering warranties or a customer buying a warranty. 

“This is especially important in the UK motor warranty sector, which is highly developed and very competitive, and where it will help the RAC Dealer Network to introduce a new generation of products and services. What we will have is a highly scaleable, secure and effective platform that will take us through the next decade or more. We are on schedule to start roll-out of GLoW to RAC dealers starting in Q1 of next year.”
