CD Salvage Auction (CDSA) now provide videos of salvage auction vehicles on sale on its site to create a more transparent and easier vehicle buying experience.

Through CitNOW technology, CD Salvage Auction provides smart videos for smarter auction sales on total loss salvage, accident damage-repairable, and vehicles with mechanical failure. The videos ensure all angles of the external and interior of vehicles are recorded.

CD Salvage Auction is the first auction company to use the CitNOW service to offer an innovative approach to detailing salvage vehicles. Videos, supported by high-quality images of damaged areas, minimise the time viewing vehicles.

As more and more buyers shop via mobile devices for convenience, CD Salvage Auction has also updated its website to ensure it is now fully mobile responsive, so videos are accessible anywhere.

CitNOW provides app-based video solutions to make the car buying and ownership experience more transparent, tailored and seamless for customers.

Andy Brown, managing director of CD Auction Group said: “The use of CitNOW technology means we are able to provide a better service for our customers, bringing innovation into the salvage vehicle auction sector and improving the buying experience of damaged remarketed vehicles.”

Alistair Horsburgh, Chief Executive of CitNOW, added:  ““Using the CitNOW platform for total loss salvage, accident damage-repairable, and vehicles with mechanical failure showcases the far-reaching uses of personalised video and we are looking forward to working with CD Salvage Auction to improve its buyer’s experience.”

CD Salvage Auction operates a sealed bid format where registered buyers can view vehicles and submit closed bids online by 1 pm every Wednesday.
