Vehicle data firm, HPI have appointed product development specialist, Darren Greenyer as Head of Automotive Finance with a brief to identify new ways to ensure HPI’s finance offerings continue to satisfy the market.

Greenyer has been with HPI for 5 years, helping to launch the HPI Finance Gateway, as well as deploying its asset protection services, HPI Monitor, HPI CrushWatch, HPI Security Watch and HPI Keeper Enquiry into the finance sector.

The former sales team manager at Close Brothers, will be sitting on two Finance Leasing Association committees, the Motor Asset Registration Services (MARS) and Vehicle Remarketing and Asset Registration Group (VRAR).

Talking about his new role, Greenyer says, “HPI’s core vehicle provenance and mileage investigation services give us a solid foundation on which to build an already successful suite of finance related products. By building on the strength of the HPI brand, I will join my team in developing and enhancing our services and solutions for our retail clients, as well as motor finance providers. In a tough economic climate, HPI can provide a deep level of support to finance companies and dealers looking to protect their assets and maximise opportunities.”
