KEYLOOP has launched a new division to accelerate digital transformation for OEMs and large dealer groups in the UK and across Europe.

The Alliances division will bring together technology partners, app developers and consultants to address the challenges the industry faces in delivering digital transformation. It is already working with a number of OEMs to address the data requirements of the agency model, which benefit from a real-time single view of the customer from initial online contact to vehicle handover and beyond.

Megan Harvey heads the Alliances division as EVP of Alliances and OEMs while a series of senior hires have also added a wealth of experience; Jacqui Barker is leading the transformation with OEMs as Director for the OEM team. She was previously at drivvn, where she headed up commercial operations.

Sebastien Fabri is accelerating the Consulting and Technology Partner Ecosystem. He previously developed these channels at Google.  Additionally, Barny Francis and Leah Osborne have been appointed as global brand directors; from Carwow and GardX, respectively.

The team helps customers use technology to tackle issues ranging from aftersales efficiencies and the agency model to omnichannel retail, the transition to EVs, mobility and changing finance models.

Harvey said: “We are changing the way the automotive industry can use digital technology to connect OEMs, partners and customers to deliver more efficient systems that provide a better experience for everyone.

“By leveraging our partner ecosystem in delivering projects, we can accelerate digital transformation and provide true benefits in much shorter timeframes. The industry is seeing much greater pressure to deliver new technologies faster to support the seismic shifts the industry is seeing.”

Keyloop uses the wealth of data it holds in its ecosystem to identify the moments that matter within the retail journey and enhance the process through better technology.

The tech company is helping OEMs to connect digital retail with vehicle handover using the latest technology,  integrations and data. The Alliances team is expanding partnerships to integrate its core platforms and competencies to assist this significant transition.

Harvey added: “We see the shift to agency models and mobility-as-a-service, and it’s clear that a richer view of the customer will be required to deliver a seamless experience. We are moving quickly to ensure that Keyloop supports and leads the industry in this area.”
