GUMTREE Motors has launched an online content resource to connect buyers with sellers following this week’s reopening of car showrooms.

The Gumtree Motors team has created content to help consumers through each step of the car purchasing process with information on models, specs, trims and prices of vehicles on sale near them, as well as expert reviews and buying tips.

With dealers prepared for strong buyer demand, the Gumtree Motors Car Guides are designed to make the research and buying process as easy as possible for consumers returning to the market or purchasing their first used car.

Dermot Kelleher, Head of Marketing and Research at eBay Motors Group, said: “The new Gumtree Motors Car Guides will help consumers through every step of the purchasing process from researching and finding their next car to buying it from one of our dealer partners,” said

“The quality and depth of the expert content reflects our desire to deliver a meaningful and rich experience for our audience, helping them make informed decisions on what to buy from the hundreds of thousands of used cars available on the site.

“Our research shows that the average car buyer takes 41 days to learn as much as possible about a potential purchase and find the right car for them. With our new hub we’re making this process as painless as possible.”

The initiative is part of eBay Motors Group’s investment aimed at increasing awareness of its online platforms, following last month’s high profile return of Motors.co.uk to national television advertising.
