VAUXHALL’S Go retail group is to be rebranded as new owner PSA’s Robins & Day from the end of this month.

Control of the 10 Vauxhall-owned dealerships was handed over to PSA soon after the Peugeot Citroen parent bought Opel-Vauxhall from General Motors.

The Go Vauxhall website said that over the past year, Go and Robins & Day have been aligning their respective brands and businesses, following the appointment of James Weston (CEO) and Simon Lawrence (group finance & strategy director) of Robins & Day, to the Go Vauxhall board.

Weston added: “The performance achieved by Go Vauxhall over the past year has been outstanding and the rebrand signals the next stage of our journey to further advancing our customer satisfaction and brand in London and the surrounding area.

“Having all four marques – Vauxhall, Peugeot, Citroen and DS – under one brand allows us to better drive our business forward, whilst allowing us to confidently compete in all vehicle sectors.”

Robins & Day has a network of 34 sites nationwide and the additional Go Vauxhall sites will strengthen the brand’s visibility within London and the South East.
