BELFAST dealership Charles Hurst Renault has invested £600,000 to electrify its company car fleet to reduce its carbon footprint and incorporate environmentally friendly practices into its business model.

Staff have opted for the fully electric Renault Zoe as their choice of company car. With 0% Road Tax and low running costs, the choice is also a financially-savvy one.

Terry Murray, Charles Hurst Renault Fleet Manager, said: “As Northern Ireland’s largest new and used car group, we’re proud to be championing the move to environmentally friendly vehicles as part of our ongoing commitment to sustainability initiatives. Charles Hurst’s significant investment in electric vehicles is a progressive and positive step towards reaching our environmental goals.

“We are continually looking for new ways to improve our sustainability objective and the investment into Renault Zoe allows us to considerably reduce our carbon footprint.
