CD Auction Group has responded to a surge in demand from dealers for electric vehicles with the launch of a new regular EV sale.

The first sale takes place on Tuesday, March 9 and will feature stock from Tesla and a range of fleet vendors.

CD Auction has seen EV volumes increase over the last 12 months and has launched the sale to make it easier for dealers to source EV and hybrid vehicles.

Graham Howes, commercial director at CD Auction Group, said: “It’s clear that the public is becoming more comfortable with EV technology, and dealers are seeking to increase the mix on their forecourts. Our new Tuesday sale will give dealers access to premium stock, supported with the latest technology to make buying easier than ever before.”

CD Auctions was one of the UK’s first digital-only auction companies, and it has continued to enhance its digital channels with the launch of an enhanced Buyers app and a new Vehicle Tradex platform, which is designed around dealers needs and provides a safe environment and an easy way to manage trade inventory.

The auction group has recently reported unprecedented sales performance as the industry emerged from lockdown. It attributes the growth to the deployment of advanced technology that gives buyers the choice to buy with one click using a desktop or mobile devices.
