FORTHCOMING used car site Cazoo has been ranked at number 13 on the Startups 100 2019 list, despite not having even launched yet.

Cazoo is set to be launched later this year seeking to transform the way people buy used cars.

Founded by Alex Chesterman, who previously founded LoveFilm and Zoopla, Cazoo has already secured over £30 million of funding and has been busy assembling a team ahead of its planned launch

Established in 2008, the prestigious Startups 100 list is the longest running annual index of its kind, ranking the country’s top 100 disruptive, fast-growth, new businesses which demonstrate innovation, solid financials, economic impact and the ability to scale.

Cazoo aims to make buying a used car no different to buying any other product online today by letting consumers select from thousands of cars online and have it delivered to their door in as little as 48 hours.

Chesterman said: “We’re delighted to have made this list before we have even launched. The list has previously identified some very successful UK businesses early on and, whilst we are just getting started, we’re pleased our potential has been recognised ahead of our launch later this year.”
