DESPITE being forced to close its stores during the first lockdown and only open them for click-and-collect during the second, Carshop is ending the year on a high having just opened its eleventh store.

Despite this year’s challenges CarShop, has managed to continue with its ambitious growth plans. This includes reaching the milestone of opening its first retail site in Nottingham before the year is out.

The seven-acre multi-million pound site is CarShop’s most significant investment to date. As its largest store in the UK, the opening has created 75 new jobs for people locally with roles ranging from mechanics and MOT technicians, to customer service advisors and handover team members.

A stone’s throw away from the city centre, CarShop Nottingham also boasts the very latest equipment and technology, including one of the retailer’s innovative drive-in service centres which provide customers with a quick and convenient way to MOT, service and repair their vehicles.

The showroom and large forecourts to the front and side of the building display a wide choice of cars, with the location having access to 900 vehicles in total. For even more options, customers can also browse over 9,000 makes and models on the CarShop website – shortlisting their favourites, arranging a test-drive at their local store, using click-and-collect and buying online.
