USED car retailer CarShop is making a multi-million-pound investment in Wolverhampton, acquiring the 4.6 acre site in Kenway Retail Park, Willenhall, which currently belongs to Autoworld.

This would mark CarShop’s 13th store in the UK, but its first in the West Midlands.
The retailer, which is part of Leicester-based Sytner Group, said the site is set to officially open its doors to the public in September this year.

It will feature a forecourt holding up to 400 used vehicles, a compact store with a customer area and showroom, as well as a service centre for MOT, service and repair.

The opening of this new store will mark a significant step for the retailer, which has previously outlined its ambitious growth plans to become a truly national brand.
