New Bentley Bentayga performance

Bentley is set to release a higher performance version of the Bentayga, which will sit at the top of the range.

The V8-powered model is set to be more powerful than the previous range topper, the now-discontinued Bentayga Speed, which produced 635PS from a 6.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12.

Bentley claimed this would be the “most emotional and engaging Bentayga to date,” with a sports exhaust as standard, as well as a new ESC mode, which will give the car more of a tendency to oversteer.

Visually, the new model will be distinguished by a pair of elliptical exhaust pipes.

Unlike Bentley’s other high performance models, this new Bentayga will not be hybridised.

Power will come from a twin turbocharged V8, likely a tweaked version of the engine already used in the Bentayga S, as well as in other Bentley, Porsche, and Audi models.

In the Bentayga S, the engine makes 550PS, however the same basic engine makes up to 659PS in the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT.

The new model will be revealed on 2nd June 2025, joining the 449PS V6 hybrid, and 550PS V8 Bentayga models.
