Arnold Clark has reopened its Community Fund for 2025, again inviting UK charities and community groups to apply for financial support across three distinct areas.
The fund was launched in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, and focuses on addressing the cost-of-living crisis, strengthening local communities, and supporting youth sport.
Since launching in March 2021, the Arnold Clark Community Fund has supported more than 23,000 organisations, offering grants to help groups affected by the pandemic and beyond.
For the 2025 round, the fund is structured around three core initiatives:
Cost-of-living support – targeted funding for charities and community groups that support those most impacted by rising living costs.
Community support – grants for grassroots projects that benefit local residents, particularly in areas where Arnold Clark operates its 200-plus branches.
Gear up for sport – a dedicated programme supplying free kits and strips to youth sports teams. Every month, 300 sets are being given away to teams of up to 30 children aged 4 to 15, across any sport.
Russell Borrie, chief executive officer at Arnold Clark, said: “For 70 years, since Sir Arnold first founded the company, we’ve been deeply committed to supporting our local communities.
“The Arnold Clark Community Fund allows us to extend that support even further, make a meaningful impact on more communities and help even more great causes.”
