LISA Brankin will take over as Sales Director for Ford of Britain from January 1, 2019, taking over from Kevin Griffin who is retiring from the carmaker after more than 40 years.

Brankin will be responsible for all of Ford’s sales distribution channels, including the dealer network and online sales, in the UK, reporting to Andy Barratt, Ford of Britain Chairman and Managing Director.

Brankin is currently Director, Marketing, a position she has held since August 2015 and was previously head of Dealer Operations, where she was responsible for all sales support and dealer representation activities in the UK.

This included the implementation of Transit Specialist Dealer Centres and rolling out the FordStore initiative, a network of upgraded, new-look dealerships where customers can experience the full range of Ford vehicles and services.

Brankin joined Ford as a graduate trainee and has held various roles within sales and marketing in Britain, Europe and at the global level. Her replacement as the marketing lead in Ford of Britain will be announced later.

Kevin Griffin held a number of leadership roles at Ford, including director, Field Sales, and director, Fleet Sales, both in Ford of Britain, and director, Regional Sales Operations, Ford of Europe.
