The National Franchised Dealer Association’s (NFDA) Trusted Dealers has launched a new car offering with a unique online part-exchange model

The new Appraise My Car platform produces a tailored value based on real dealer valuations, rather than industry data. The development follows research by Trusted Dealers that confirmed 65% of new car buyers value a site that offers new cars and part-exchange when looking for a vehicle. The new approach is aimed at consumers, 37% of whom said their biggest frustration when part-exchanging in the past including not knowing if they were getting a good deal.

The tool is a big step for Trusted Dealers, who can now provide a complete service for customers looking to buy a car online, while offering the security of purchasing from a franchised dealer.

Neil Addley, NFDA Trusted Dealers Managing Director, said, ″Following our success with used cars, it made sense to break into the new car market too, with an innovative service that keeps costs down for dealers in order for them to pass these savings onto consumers, who also get a hassle-free part-exchange experience.

“Our new car offering will strengthen our promise of being the safest place to buy a car online for customers, it will also help deliver high quality leads and increased sales for dealers and will improve profitability, making it the perfect solution for both our dealer members and customers looking for a good deal when buying online.”
