Following a successful pilot at its Chelmsford branch, Aston Barclay has launched its Assured product across the group.

Under the scheme vehicles that do not meet the standards described on the initial Assured Inspection report Aston Barclay will replace, repair, or refund the sale price.

The product covers cars up to 10 years and 100,000 miles on engine operation, brakes, steering, transmission, key electrical components, fluid levels and dashboard lights.Assured is underwritten directly by Aston Barclay and any buyer claims or queries are managed directly by its auctioneers and centre managers. So farDealer groups including Thurlow Nunn, SMC and Beadles have all received positive feedback from buyers.

Aston Barclay’s group operations director Martin Potter, commented, “Assured has been set up purely with buyers in mind and our nine-month trial has been greeted positively. This is our latest buyer initiative with more to come over the next few months,”
