Confused.com has confirmed the appointment of Louise O’Shea as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer.

O’Shea will take over the role from Martin Coriat who is to move to the CEO job at Confused.com’s sister comparison website LeLynx based in Paris, France.Her appointment follows the company’s recent ‘Driver Wins’ marketing campaign, fronted by James Corden.

The new CEO has nearly ten years experience within the Admiral Group, holding the roles of Investor Relations and International Business Development Director for the FTSE 100 company. She takes up the CEO job having most recently worked as the Finance Director at Confused.com.

Louise commented on her new role, “Who doesn’t love saving time and money? That is what Confused.com does every day for Britain’s motorists. Confused.com pioneered the comparison of car insurance in the early 2000’s and today we are obsessed with providing better access, choice and savings for more motoring products than anyone else. Martin was an exceptional leader for Confused.com and he will be greatly missed.
