Finance technology firm iVendi has hosted representatives of dealer groups including Jardine Motor Group, The Car Shop, Carbase, Howards Peugeot and Saxon Bridge for the Covent Garden launch of its new Dealer Council.

The meeting issued a statement of purpose which reads, “The iVendi Dealer Council is an informal but confidential discussion group where users of iVendi products can discuss the evolving digital retail model with their peers, sharing ideas and learning best practice. It is intended to help these dealers deliver better business results over time, and to enable iVendi to incorporate their thinking into its future product road map.”

Talking about the initiative, James Tew, CEO at iVendi, said, “Online car retailing is a very fast-moving area of the motor industry, and it is very valuable for us and for our dealers to take time to sit down and discuss best practice and new ideas. The first meeting of the Dealer Council was very interesting featuring some of the most forward-thinking dealers from across the UK. The feedback from all present was very positive and we plan to hold a second meeting later in the year.”
