Vehicle data firm Glass’s have introduced a replacement for their ageing GlassMatix vehicle repair estimating product, with the UK release of their creatively named Glass’s Repair Estimate product.

Talking about the move, David Littleford, Key Account Manager at Glass’s, says, “GlassMatix did a great job for a number of years, but it was becoming outdated and the technology left little room to modernise. We believe Repair Estimate is better than anything else on the market and our customers agree.”

Littleford’s colleague Tom Jackson, Senior Product Manager at Glass’s, adds, “We provide the best crash repair data in the UK and Repair Estimate is the perfect platform for us to demonstrate this.Repair Estimate is also part of our single online data platform, which means customers can now access all of our data sets and asset types in one place, from any PC or tablet. This is a big step forward in terms of flexibility for our customers.”

As well as being directly accessible, Glass’s Repair Estimate can be accessed through third party systems thanks to an API, one example being such as Minotaur Software’s Electronic Vehicle Assessment (EVA) platform.

Talking about their experience, Dan Sweeney, Managing Director of Minotaur Software says, “The new Repair Estimate graphical interface allows an estimate to be completed quickly and easily. The feedback from our existing clients has been very positive for the seamless integration and slick estimating.”
