TruckEast is celebrating the results five of their final year technical apprentices, who have graduated from Scania’s award winning training centre, outside Loughborough.

TruckEast Managers joined the graduates and their families to celebrate their hard work and dedication with the ceremony that marked the next step in their careers.

Managing Director, John Biggin commented: “Our apprentices very much represent the future of our business and on behalf of TruckEast; I would like to wish them all every success in their careers with us.”

Scania apprentices receive ongoing training and support from both the dealer and the in-house team at its UK Training Centre, over the three year programme,. The facility features an extensive, fully fitted workshop and state of the art training rooms. Between their training blocks each TruckEast apprentice has full-time on the job learning where they are continuously mentored and assessed at their respective branch.

Alistair Brown, Wellingborough final year apprentice, commented: “Scania is the best brand out there so when it came to choosing an apprenticeship it was an easy decision. Having always had an interest in engines I knew I wanted to be in the industry and TruckEast has provided me with that opportunity. For those looking at future options I would strongly recommend apprenticeships as they set you up with a career for life,”
