Moneybarn has announced a number of changes to its leadership team, with Peter Minter (MD) to become Non-Executive Chairman, Shamus Hodgson (currently commercial director) to take over from Peter as Managing Director.

Peter Crook, chief executive of Provident Financial Group who own Moneybarn, is stepping down as non-executive chairman of the Moneybarn board to become a non-executive director. During Peter Minter 14 years as managing director, the company has gone from a niche finance provider to the UK’s leading non-prime motor finance company.

Peter Minter commented: “After a thoroughly enjoyable time as managing director, I am delighted to move onto my new role as non-executive chairman. I am equally delighted that Shamus Hodgson will step into the role of managing director and I am confident that his experience of the business and the industry will continue to drive Moneybarn forward.”
