Sytner Group has commenced work on the relocation of BMW and MINI Sheffield as part of a plan to re-invest over £50m on relocations and property enhancements in 2017.

Sytner Sheffield BMW is currently one of the group’s smallest dealerships.  Early in 2017, the business will relocate to a new facility that will not only be the largest within the Sytner group but also the largest BMW dealership in the UK. The new site is located one mile from the Meadowhall shopping centre.

The new facility will afford Sytner over 200,000sq ft of indoor space. It will offer the business a 150 car BMW showroom and the 50 car MINI showroom. The aftersales services, will include a new 4-lane Drive-in Service Reception area a service waiting area with free WiFi, and the ‘Isetta Bar’ cafe. Behind the scenes there is a 30 bay workshop with three MOT test bays, and bodyshop.

Sytner expects to increase the number of staff at the dealership dramatically, adding a further 20 jobs and a host of graduate and trainee opportunities expected to be created in the coming months after opening.
