St James’s Motoring Spectacle returns to Pall Mall in November
The free-to-attend event will showcase the evolution of motoring from Victorian vehicles to futuristic supercars on Saturday 1st November in central London.
The St James’s Motoring Spectacle is returning to Pall Mall on Saturday 1st November, following the success of last year’s inaugural event.
Organised by the Royal Automobile Club, the free-to-attend celebration will transform one of London’s most notable thoroughfares into a timeline of automotive evolution, showcasing vehicles from the Victorian era to cutting-edge supercars.
The one-day spectacle, staged outside the Royal Automobile Club’s historic Clubhouse, will feature more than 50 pre-1905 vehicles participating in the St James’s Concours competition.
These veteran cars will also take part in the RM Sotheby’s London to Brighton Veteran Car Run the following day, departing from Hyde Park at dawn on Sunday.
Duncan Wiltshire, chairman of the Royal Automobile Club, said: “The first St James’ Motoring Spectacle was a triumph on so many fronts.
“It was wonderful to see the fabulous heritage and future of motoring displayed for everyone to enjoy on Pall Mall and we must thank Westminster City Council for making a return possible.”
Wiltshire added: “Now, with an amazing platform on which to build – this year’s family-friendly Spectacle will be a major draw for all ages and interests and we can’t wait.”
The event will feature an expert judging panel for the St James’s Concours competition, including renowned veteran car specialists and TV personality Alan Titchmarsh CBE.
Alongside the historic vehicles, the 2025 event will showcase a collection of state-of-the-art hypercars highlighting cutting-edge design and low-carbon technologies, which proved particularly popular with younger attendees last year.
The Spectacle forms part of the Royal Automobile Club’s London Motor Week, which includes anniversary dinners, awards presentations, the Art of Motoring Exhibition and RM Sotheby’s London Sale at The Peninsula London.
