Snows Group has strengthened the sales team at its Volvo outlet in the group’s home city of Southampton, anticipating a busy 2025.
Sales Manager Jaimie Maddison has transferred to the centre from a similar role at Snows’ Lexus dealership in Hedge End.
Maddison’s deputy Aidan Rutland has switched to the South Coast showroom having previously been business manager and then assistant manager at Snows’ other Volvo dealership in Winchester – a centre that has been selling the Swedish brand’s cars for 42 years.
Two recent additions have strengthened the sales executive team to five at the showroom in Millbrook – Snows opened the outlet in August 2021 after making a £3.1 million investment.
Commenting on his appointment, Maddison described the Volvo range as in a fantastic place at present. “What we’re finding is that people know of Volvo because of the cars’ comfort, reliability and safety, but with the fantastic new designs they have introduced, they’re appealing to a whole new type of motorist.
‘‘We’re certainly attracting customers from other premium brands. Volvo might not have been on their shopping list a few years ago, but it is now very much up there.’
‘‘I’m delighted to take the helm of this new-look sales team at Southampton Volvo and we look forward to welcoming new and existing customers alike, in the weeks and months to come.’’
