Motors.co.uk has launched two new products – one aiming to guide consumers through their car buying journey and another to help increase leads for dealers.

Car Persist is a new widget showing a buyer’s recently viewed vehicle. Showing at the bottom of the screen, dealers subscribing to Car Persist can keep their vehicles front of mind as users navigate around the site

The second product, Traffic Divert, lets car buyers click straight through to dealers’ websites. The new feature has been created in response to feedback from dealers in the network who wanted to increase downstream visits from Motors.co.uk to their own site.

Traffic Divert also benefits the user experience, as it gives car buyers the option to access dealers’ sites with just one click as opposed to using a search engine to find contact details.

Commenting on the launches, Andy Coulthurst, managing director of Motors.co.uk, said: “The roll-out of the new products has been incredibly successful, which we believe is because we have taken feedback from dealers and consumers on board. We are continuing to invest in the site to ensure we’re delivering the most user-friendly car buying experience in the UK.”
