Hyundai sells 1,100 INSTERs in first month, increases fleet and retail sales

The company sold 48,777 vehicles in the first half of 2025, a 5.1% year-on-year increase.

In the UK, Hyundai sold 1,100 of the INSTER electric vehicle (EV) in the model’s first month, while the brand increased retail and fleet sales in the first half of 2025.

In the first half of the year, Hyundai increased retail sales by 20% year-on-year, with the sector-wide increase much lower, at 4.5%

Fleet sales were up by 33.8%, with the sector as a whole increasing by 7.7%.

The company’s sold 48,777 vehicles in the first half of 2025, a 5.1% year-on-year increase, maintaining its 4.7% share of the car market.

The Tucson remained Hyundai’s best-selling car, representing 31% of all sales, at 15,495 units.
