London based classic car dealership Hexagon have given their showroom an unusual end of year make-over with the installation of an exhibition of contemporary furniture from high end designers including Netherlands based Van Rossum and Sweden’s Källemo.
Explaining what’s involved, Racheline Michaels, Hexagon Classic Design curator, and wife of Hexagon founder Paul Michaels says, “Embarking on a show requires confidence in the pieces that we actually could live with. We source some of the world’s finest examples of natural and sustainable materials. The sheer quality of the work in the showroom boasts materials which have their own imperfections and patina, something which evokes the same kind of emotional responce as owning a classic car.
“It is a privilege to bring these two worlds together and we hope this pop-up exhibition offers people an insight into the attitude furniture suggests to us. Those who want to create a very personal and unique environment are absolutely welcome to Hexagon Classic Design.”
