Phil Burchell, fleet sales consultant at Greenhous Vauxhall Fleet Services in Stoke, has been working for an unbroken quarter of a century with the firm.In fact
Phil, who is from Audlem in Cheshire, has actually served over 30 years with Greenhous with an initial 5 year stint in the 1980’s. Phil’s first job after school was as a trainee hair stylist at Vidal Sassoon.
Three year later Phil cut out the hair styling and moved to a trainee salesman role for a Ford franchise in Crewe. He became top salesman within 5 months and progressed to the sales controller role in due course.
In 1983 Phil joined Greenhous at the Vauxhall dealership on Victoria Road in Hanley, Stoke. His role was in business sales. After 4 successful years he left the company but returned in 1992 as a fleet sales consultant once again, a role he has made a career from ever since.
Over the years Phil became a specialist in business to business sales. Eventually he moved across to purely large fleet account management which he dedicates his time to now. Phile was presented with his gold watch by Jonathan Young, Greenhous Fleet Sales Director.
