Recruitment firm Barrow Mount has confirmed the appointment of Rukhsana Shaikh, who joins the business to lead on client development and market engagement across key sectors including automotive, logistics and mobility.

Shaikh brings more than eight years of commercial experience across sales, business development and operations.

She has previously helped build startups from scratch and led revenue strategy across SaaS and recruitment businesses.

Most recently, she helped launch DKay Recruitment, where she built internal systems, delivered CRM-led growth and trained consultants to scale performance.

Her background includes senior roles at Bilr Legal Billing Agency and Newsquest Media Group, with experience in consultative selling, CRM implementation and digital marketing.

Shaikh is currently completing a degree in English at The Open University and holds a diploma in fashion design.

Shaikh will support Barrow Mount’s specialist recruitment offering across fleet, automotive retail, commercial vehicles and logistics, with a focus on building relationships and driving growth.
