Spread the love

Luxury motor dealer group HR Owen has supported a charity caring for terminally ill children and their families.

The group’s Bentley Surrey dealership provided eight chauffeur-driven Bentayga SUVs to take children from two hospices run by the Shooting Star Chase charity for a fun day out.

After touring Surrey, the drivers headed to The Medicine Gardens in Cobham for afternoon tea before returning their guests home with souvenirs.

Bentley Surrey brand ambassador Peter Matthews said: “It was nothing but an honour for us at Bentley Surrey and H.R. Owen to spend the day with these incredibly brave children and their amazing families. Seeing their eyes light up when they first sat in the Bentaygas was a sight to behold – they loved having a luxury experience that they are so rarely able to enjoy. The admirable work that Shooting Star Chase does means the world to these inspirational children and we were over the moon to play a big part in it.”

Karen Sugarman, director of fund-raising at Shooting Star Chase, added: “We are hugely grateful to H.R. Owen Bentley and the Medicine Garden for showing such kindness and generosity to the families we support. The children, siblings and parents had a truly wonderful afternoon travelling through Surrey in such style and luxury, and being treated to delicious afternoon tea in peaceful and beautiful surroundings. The families Shooting Star Chase care for endure unimaginable circumstances, and we know a break like this means the world to them.”
