British Car Auctions has confirmed that its Blackbushe site will stage the annual Bangers4Ben sale on Friday, 27th October to help raise money for the automotive charity, Ben.

Cars from the annual Bangers4Ben Rally will be offered and sold to raise funds for Ben. BCA auctions the cars free of charge to ensure the maximum is raised for the charity and donates all the buyer’s fees to the cause.

BCA Head of PR, Tim Naylor commented, “Ben is the UK’s only dedicated charity for those who are working or have worked in the automotive industry and their dependents. The charity offers care and support for those who need it.”

He added: “The sale of Bangers4Ben vehicles always attracts a big crowd of buyers so we look forward to welcoming everybody to BCA Blackbushe on 27 October. We hope to raise some significant funds to help Ben’s fabulous work in supporting thousands of individuals and families connected with the UK automotive industry.”

Jools Tait, Business Development Director at Ben, said: “It always amazes me how much effort that the teams put into preparing their cars, not just for the journey, but also the look and theme too. We would like to give our heartfelt thanks to all the teams who took part, to Car Dealer Magazine and to BCA for once again staging the end-of-event auction. All the money raised will help Ben support automotive people and their families to navigate life’s toughest challenges and empower them to make lasting, positive change.”
