Alan Day Volkswagen Managing Director, Paul Tanner, lead a team of Saracens RFC players on a pre- season training day to help youngsters with learning disabilities.

The group’s Managing Director has a background in sport having formerly been a British hurdler. Tanner invited former England centre Brad Barritt, flanker Will Fraser, scrum -half Neil De Kock and hooker Schalk Brits to attend the session alongside 16 youngsters who are autistic.

Alan Day are one of the main sponsors of Saracens RFC supplying the team and staff with a fleet of vehicles and vans. The youngsters who took part are part of the Sarries RFC Foundation programme which assists young people, aged between 12 and 20-years-old. The session took place at Allianz Park in Hendon, North West London as the warm up to the rugby season begins.

Paul Tanner commented, “I would like to thank the players for giving up their time and helping the kids. It is a great privilege working with such a great bunch of people.”
