TrustFord’s HR team has paid a visit to Cancer Research UK’s warehouse in Essex to lend a hand with the ongoing work at the facility. 

The team helped with unpacking and sorting donations, preparing Christmas stock and packing-up eBay sales for delivery from the Cancer Research UK eBay shop.

The warehouse was part of TrustFord’s partnership with Cancer Research UK – the dealer group’s official charity partner. In 2016, TrustFord raised over £37,000 for Cancer Research UK. 

Sharon Ashcroft, HR Director at TrustFord comments: “Our visit to Cancer Research UK’s warehouse was a fascinating insight in to how the charity organises all of the donations it receives from members of the public and larger corporations. It was a very worthwhile day, as well as a great chance to enjoy some time with TrustFord colleagues giving something back.”

TrustFord is wholly owned by Ford Motor Company. It operates a network of 60 dealership sites throughout the UK and Channel Islands, employing 3,200 staff.
