Jennings Kia has sponsored Stockton Borough Council’s annual Cycling Festival, donating the use of nine models from the Kia range as support vehicles for the event.
Stockton Borough Council’s annual Cycling Festival is in its 7th year. The event is a free, three-day festival that offers a host of activities for cyclist fans of all ages. This year’s event will open with a British Cycling HSBC UK National Circuit Series race around a unique closed-road route. Jennings Kia will be displaying a variety of Kia models at various locations throughout the course of the weekend.
Steven Flack, Franchise Manager at the Jennings Kia dealership, said, “As a company we are regularly involved with and heavily committed to supporting local events within the community, and we were delighted when the Leisure and Sports Development team got in touch to see if we could help out.
“The new partnership has enabled us to form a good working relationship with the team and we look forward to further strengthening this with our involvement in events and sponsorship opportunities in the future.”
Reuben Kench, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Director of Culture, Events and Leisure, said: “We’re delighted to have Jennings Kia on board as a major supporter of the Stockton Cycling Festival.“It was great to visit the dealership and view the range of support vehicles that they have kindly donated for use across the festival weekend. There’s going to be a whole host of cycling fun and activities taking place that are suitable for all ages and members of the family so I’d really encourage everyone to come down to Stockton at the weekend to get involved in what will be a first class celebration of all things cycling.”
